- Use a panty liner.

- Take the probiotic prescribed by Dr. Alvarado 1 or 2 times a day.
- Avoid lifting heavy objects or engaging in activities that require a lot of effort.
- Resume sexual activity one month after surgery.
- If a catheter was left during the reconstruction of the vaginal introitus, it will be removed by the surgeon two or more days after surgery.
